Brayden and Kyle

Brayden and Kyle are best friends. They are the same age, so they are into the same things. They have been friends for about a year and a half. Brayden's parents are great friends of Ross and I too, so it's extra special when we all get together and hang out. Unfortunately Brayden and his parents are moving, so Kyle and I had Brayden and his mom Katie over one last time for them to play. They have been great friends to all of us. We are sad to see them go, but wish them all the best in their new town, new home and with Brayden's new baby sister or brother, that is due in April. We hope to see them soon and we will stay in touch.

Walking Trader

One of Ross' neck ties on the couch in the living room, so I put on Trader. Kyle thought that was the best thing. He picked up the end of the tie and started to pull her toward him. She being a great dog, walked toward him and he started waking. He was so happy that he could walk her on the "leash". I don't think it was he was walking her as much as she was walking him.

Fun in the sink

Kyle wanted to play in the sink. He sat on the counter, turned on the water and played in the water. He also found the toothbrush holder and found out that it is a great water holder too. Every now and then he would notice that someone was watching him, but it was not Mommy. He was looking at himself and he would share the water with the kid in the mirror. He was soaking wet, but had a blast.

Tricycle

Kyle got a tricycle for Christmas. It's blue and red with a yellow basket on the back. He really loves it, the only problem is he doesn't understand how to move it. He can be pushed and he will put his feet on the petals, but he doesn't know how to petal by himself. He loves to take it outside to ride. We have been working with him to teach him how to ride it, but so far he is still trying to figure it out.

Kyle and Simon

I have had Simon my cat since before Ross and I started dating, so Ross has never know me with out him. When I got pregnant with Kyle, I was nevous how Simon would act with him or if Simon even tolerate would Kyle. The day came for us to bring Kyle home. We introduced baby to cat, neither one seamed real interested in the other. As Kyle grew, he became more interested in the furry thing that was hanging around the house.

Now two years later, they are best friends. When we are outside with Simon, Kyle is always in eye sight of him. If we go for a walk, Simon is walking with us. Simon sits still while Kyle gives him a hug or ten hugs. Let's Kyle pull his tail with nothing more then a me. Kyle would lay on him, full body lay on him and Simon would not complain. Kyle loves to step over him while he is laying on the floor, Simon doesn't move. Simon has turned out be a great cat and friend to not just me and Ross, but Kyle too!

Blowing his Nose

Kyle had to blow his nose, so he climb up on the chair at the desk and reached for a tissue. He pulled one out, put it to his face and blew his nose. He then balled it up, put it on the desk and reached for another one. Seven, yes 7 tissues later I had to cut him off. He was pulling tissues out of the box, balling them up, then holding the balled up tissue in his hand while he blow on the outside of his hand.

Snow Day 2010

Well it snowed in Memphis last night. There is about an inch of snow and we are suppose to get more. I got Kyle dressed to go out. A long sleeved undershirt, long sleeved shirt, jeans, swoosh pants ( I can't think of the name of them, but they are so the snow doesn't get to his jeans) a hat and a hooded jacket with the hood up over the hat. He really had fun outside in the snow. He is old enough now that he can really enjoy playing in it. We weren't out long, but I did get a few pictures of him playing. About 15 minutes into playing outside, Kyle was done with the cold and snow, he was ready to come in, his cheeks were red and his little hands were frozen. It was a good time while it lasted.

Kyle's Tonka Truck

Kyle's Uncle Cliff got him this Tonka Truck for Christmas and he loves it. He has put a lot of things in this truck to haul to somewhere. The most fun he has had with the truck is when Uncle Cliff put him in it and pushed all over the house. Kyle laughed so hard and smiled so big, he didn't want to stop. We put him in it yesterday and pushed him around in it for a little bit. He has really enjoyed the truck.

Christmas 2009

For Christmas this year Ross and I stayed in town and had family up for Christmas. Kyle's Papa and Granny and Uncle Cliff were here for Christmas. Kyle could not have enjoyed himself more. 3 people that love him and want to spoil him. Yes he got spoiled. He made out like a bandit with presents not only from Santa, but the rest of the family too. The presents that we got him could not go under the tree, because he would open them up and then want to play with them. Kyle got a Handy Manny work bench and stuffed dog from Santa, toy cars and clothes from mommy and daddy, Tonka truck that is big enough for him to sit in from his Uncle Cliff, a cement mixer toy from his Papa and Granny, a RC dump truck and Glove and balls from his Aunt Sara,Uncle Jason and little Harrison. There are more I just can't remember all of them. Kyle loved listening to Daddy read The Night Before Christmas. He sat in Daddy lap and looked at the book. It was also fun to see his Papa and Granny play on the new Wii. They really liked to play tennis. They were getting really good too. Kyle had a great Christmas surrounded by some of the people that he really loves. This whole holiday season, Thanksgiving - Christmas was so special to him. He even got to meet some family that he had never met and loved them too.

Ross, Kristy, and Kyle hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! We sure did.
